The government announced that 840 tonnes of buffer onions have been delivered to Delhi by train to address rising prices. The onions will mainly be sold at Azadpur Mandi and will have a retail price of Rs 35 per kilogram. This railway transportation approach focuses on prompt delivery and has successfully expanded to multiple destinations, helping to stabilize prices in important states.
