Canada expels 6 Indian diplomats, says some individuals & businesses were ‘threatened’ into working with New Delhi

Canada expelled six Indian diplomats on Monday, citing evidence that they were involved in an Indian government “campaign of violence.” Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner Mike Duheme alleged that Indian officials engaged in covert activities to gather information, often coercing local individuals and businesses. In response, India summoned Canadas Charge dAffaires, condemning the allegations as baseless and asserting that they endangered the safety of Indian diplomats.
