Jaipur: Police reported on Wednesday that a letter threatening bomb explosions at various railway stations and religious sites in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh was received at the Hanumangarh railway station. Additional Superintendent of Police, Hanumangarh, Pyare Lal Meena mentioned that a letter was sent by post to the Hanumangarh station master and the local police were notified on Tuesday evening. “The letter, attributed to Jaish-e-Mohammed, contained threats to bomb the railway station and locations in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur, and Jaipur on October 30,” he stated. The sender also warned of bomb attacks at religious sites in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on November 2. Jaish-e-Mohammad is known to be a terrorist organization based in Pakistan. Meena noted that personnel from the Government Railway Police (GRP), local police, and BSF have carried out searches. A case has been registered at the GRP police station, and efforts are being made to identify the sender.
