The BJP has alleged that Congress and Rahul Gandhi are exploiting the funeral of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for political purposes. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra asserts that the government has appropriately honored Singh by organizing a memorial, even though he was cremated right away. He also mentioned that Congress has previously shown disrespect towards leaders like PV Narasimha Rao and Pranab Mukherjee.
